New landscaping column offered to newspapers – and it's free

(McMinnville, TN – ) Surveys show that Americans have a renewed
interest in creating attractive and practical landscaping around their
homes. Whether their pride and joy is a small city lot or large rural
acreage, homeowners are looking for ideas and suggestions to help them
with their landscaping projects.

"The Plant Man" is the title of a new column written and self-syndicated
by nursery owner and land management expert Steve Jones.

The weekly column is delivered free via e-mail to subscribing
newspapers. Each column is approximately 625 to 675 words and is
suitable for publication by both daily and weekly publications. "The
Plant Man" provides ideas, tips and advice to readers who want to know
more about trees, shrubs and plantings. Every column also includes a
"Q&A" in which Steve answers readers' questions. The "Q&A" can be cut if
space is tight. Steve writes in a lively, friendly style aimed at both
the "armchair gardener" and the serious landscape enthusiast.

The column is available at no charge to newspapers and contains no
advertising, marketing or self-serving promotion. There is a brief
announcement at the foot of each column inviting readers to send
questions to Steve and to visit his website for more information.

Editors wishing to publish "The Plant Man" can order via e-mail to
harrismm@worldnet.att.net Sample columns and more details are available
at the same e-mail address.
